Detectives, Officers, Evidence & Property Unit

Investigations is comprised of nine Detectives that are assigned to specific caseloads, conducting follow-up investigation to cases generated by patrol personnel.

Supporting the investigative work of this division is the Evidence and Property Unit. Evidence personnel conduct a thorough analysis of major crime scenes which includes the search for, and processing of latent prints, crime scene photography and collection of relevant evidence. Property personnel are responsible for cataloging and storage of all evidence and property that comes into the police department.

In addition to the nine Detectives assigned to caseloads, the department has two Police Officers assigned to a regional narcotics task force with the Ontario Police Department.
