Special Services, Programs, and Events

This division has several areas of services, programs, and ongoing events.  In addition, all complaints of misconduct against any member of this agency are investigated through this unit.

The Special Services Division of the Upland Police Department is commanded by Sergeant Alan Ansara, an 18 year veteran of the department.

The Code Enforcement Unit is assigned to Special Services. It consists of four Code Enforcement officers, one business license inspector and one secretary. Working closely with the community, the team's goal is the identification and elimination of problem areas within the community.
