Introduction

The Redevelopment Department administers the city's Economic Development, Redevelopment, Asset Management, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) and Affordable Housing Programs. These activities are intended to catylize private and public investment within the City of Upland focusing on City Redevelopment and CDBG target areas. The Department implements programs that promote economic and housing development projects emphasizing those that produce jobs, build infrastructure, expand the city's tax base and/or provide housing that is affordable to persons of low- and moderate-income.
